StreamWriter for Windows: StreamWriter Studio is the modern alternative.
Looking for StreamWriter on Windows 10 or 11? The classic StreamWriter (streamwriter.org) is a popular, free radio recorder for Windows – but its interface has aged and several convenience features are missing. StreamWriter Studio is a standalone, modern Windows app (10/11) for the same job: record internet radio automatically, detect individual tracks, tag and sort them – with real album art, a waveform editor and a built-in YouTube downloader. And: one license works on both Windows and Mac.

Why StreamWriter Studio on Windows?
StreamWriter Studio brings the familiar workflow – add stations by stream URL, record, split tracks automatically – into a modern interface. The same stream addresses you use in StreamWriter work here. On top: automatic real album art, a waveform editor for trimming to the second, and a built-in YouTube downloader (to MP3 with art & tags). Your library ends up looking store-bought – and your license key also works on the Mac.
